Smirk
How do you know they’re not a receptacle for some previously unknown cosmic power?

Frank leaves, shaking his head.

INT. BANK – DAY (LATE)

At the bank again, Frank Noble in costume, without the mask, garnering bizarre looks from the patrons.

Old MAN
Say ain’t there that there super hero that clocked me upside the head?

BANK Teller
Yes, that certainly does seem to be him.

Old MAN
Dangerous to society. A menace. Out to be locked up.

Bank TELLER
I don’t know, I make it a policy to avoid arguments with people that have an inordinate amount of explosives on their person.

Old MAN
You have a good point there. Problems like that usually take care of themselves….as in sending themselves to the afterlife very shortly.
Bank TELLER
Think I should call the police?

OLD MAN
No, there’s no crime in being a super hero…

Dansen
What, now you’re some kind of political expert?

Frank
Er…right. Will you be needing me here any longer?

Smirk
We might need you to make a statement later, but since you seem to be fine-and a friend of Hawkqueen’s, I don’t see any reason why not. Captain generally doesn’t like us messing around with Superheroes.

Frank
How do you know I’m not a super villian?

Dansen
Villains tend to have less ridiculous costumes.

Frank
er….right.

Smirk
Most defiantly, bad guys almost always have a better sense of style. Though I have to say Hawkqueen is quite a babe.  Inoria is a bit young for my taste though.

Dansen
Oh, I agree with you there. It’s usually the males that have a total lack of fashion sense, like Captain Hammer…it’s not like he NEEDS to have those hammers glued to his cape, I mean they don’t actually DO anything.

Smirk
That’s not the way it looks.

Dansen
Doesn’t matter.

Smirk
Well it should.

Dansen
I’ll be sure to alert the American Vocabulary Association.

Frank
Excuse me.

Smirk
Yeah?

Frank
How exactly did I get here?

Dansen
Not entirely sure. We found you after we got a silent alarm back at the station. We’ve got a permanent arrangement with Hawkqueen and Inoria….not that we can usually do much to whatever is messing around with their headquarters, but we like to at least say we made the attempt.

Smirk
I’ll say-Metahuman detail is humiliating. I can’t remember the number of times I’ve told rookies to stop shooting after the first bullet….I mean, for crying out loud, if the bullets are bouncing off a guy-what’s the point of wasting ammunition at legitimate tax payer expense.
