An ignorant buffoon

Found a diamond in the rough

And managed to bamboozle her

Into putting up

With an obnoxious blowhard bag of hair

And lo and behold

10 years later

She is still buying into the con

It was the best of times

It was the worst of times

But together 

It was always better

Than alone

The north star of her grace

Made the world worth it

Despite its implicit desire

To fall apart at the seams
